I have a more laid back approach with my sessions. I create natural movements between my couples that create a genuine moment between them. I will ask you a million and one questions and I may bring some champagne, so be ready to party!

Let’s make this official! I’ll send over a contract and invoice for your session. Once the contract is signed and a non-fundable retainer of 30% is paid, your session will be in the books!

Now the party officially starts! You’re session should feel more like a fun date night rather than a chore. I’ll focus on subtle posing you both and getting all the right angles while getting all of the fun candid “in-between shots”!

You’ll receive a few sneak peaks photos within 72 hours of your session via text. I’ll send you an email with a link to your online gallery where you can download all the images within 4-6 weeks of your session.

How many photos will we get back?
All of my couples receive a minimum of 75 photos in their gallery. That being said, the more fun, outgoing and animated you are in front of the camera, typically the more photos you get! Loosen up, shake out the stiffness and have a great time lovin’ on your partner and you may receive a *few* more photos in your gallery ;)
We feel awkward in front of the camera… do you help with posing?
There’s nothing worse than feeling stiff and uncomfortable when getting your picture taken. I always coach my couples while shooting to create effortless and genuine photos that really portray your relationship with one another. Focusing on candid photos vs stiff, overly posed, forced photos is my specialty! Your session should feel
natural and effortless and I am there to help pose and prompt you through the whole thing!
Can I have the RAW photos and edit them myself?
No. The reasoning is quite simple: you hired me based off of my finished and final work, which includes the editing process. My art is not complete until I have gone through every photo an adjusting the lighting and color to fit my specific aesthetic. If you would like a different style of editing, my best advice is to continue to search for someone with a style you love! Also, RAW files are huge and take up a LOT of space on your computer.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes please <3 I will never turn away a pup from a session! There are a few things to consider if you do plan on bringing your furry friend along; 1. Some places are not dog friendly and will fine you if caught with your dog on the property. So we will have to work together to find a location that is dog friendly. 2. It’s always a good idea to bring someone along to run your pup home or stay with them while we focus on photos without him/her!
How will my photos be delivered/Will I get any prints?
I deliver all galleries as High-Resolution .JPEG images via an online gallery. These images are available for you to download as web-sized images (lower storage space and good for posting on social media) or High-Res (larger files that are better for printing). I do not offer prints at this time, but you do have all print release rights, so you are able to take your files to any print shop to have made into physical copies. I always recommend Moonlight Graphics in Grand Rapids, MI.
How long do you keep my pictures?
Forever and ever, baby! Every time I go to a session, I shoot on 2 SD cards, so if one fails, I have a backup. When I get home, I upload all of your photos to a hard drive as well as The Cloud. Once the final gallery is delivered, your photos never get deleted from the website. I never delete files so your photos are always safe!
